The entire book fund to translate into an electronic format and integrated into one library in Kazakhstan, said the Minister of Culture and Sports, Arystanbek Mukhamediuly at the opening of the Rukhani Kazyna festival.
"The work on the modernization of libraries is already giving results, the number of libraries with Internet access is increasing, the book fund is being updated and is being digitized. We want to start work with the Nur Otan party on transforming our libraries into modern knowledge centers. We will form a unified network online libraries", the Minister said.
New museums to open in Aktobe, Zhambyl, Pavlodar, Almaty and East Kazakhstan regions. Three new libraries to appear in Zhambyl, South-Kazakhstan, Aktobe oblasts. In 15 regions, libraries to update according to new standards.
