The President arrived on a working trip to the Karaganda region

The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived on a working trip to the Karaganda region.

"During the trip, the President will get acquainted with a number of industrial and social facilities. In Karaganda, a meeting on industrial and innovative development of the country will be held under the chairmanship of the President", wrote the press secretary of President Berik Uali on his Facebook.

In the afternoon, the visit program will continue in Zhezkazgan, where Tokayev plans to get acquainted with the work of the smelter.

On August 24, the Head of State will take part in the work of the International Tourism Forum in Ulytau and will attend a concert of participants of the II International Music Festival "Zhezkіik".
