The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a phone conversation with the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, reports Akorda.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated President Sooronbay Jeenbekov on his birthday, wishing him further success in his multifaceted activities for the benefit of the fraternal people of Kyrgyzstan.

The two leaders also discussed the current state and prospects for further deepening of strategic partnership in various spheres.

In addition, they discussed the preparation process of the upcoming state visit of Kazakhstan’s President to Kyrgyzstan and the 5th meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council.
