The Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Beibit Atamkulov received the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Philippe Martinet and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Kazakhstan, David Carriedo.
During the meeting they discussed about new European Union Strategy for Central Asia. Moreover, they talk about the preparation of the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron and French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian to Kazakhstan.
Is it known that on the margins of the ASEM Summit in October 2018 in Brussels, the heads of two states reached agreement on the visit of the French leader to Kazakhstan in the second half of this year.
Moreover, Kazakh Foreign Minister noted that France is an important strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union. “The leaders of our countries have identified agriculture, renewable energy and digital technologies as priority areas of cooperation. I am confident that our cooperation will gain a new impetus”, - said Bebit Atamkulov.
