Beibit Atamkulov, who previously headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), became the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development. Mukhtar Tleuberdi has been appointed as the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Kazakh MFA reports.
Atamkulov served as Foreign Minister for less than a year, and before that, from October 2016 to December 2018, he served as Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry.
Mukhtar Tleuberdi has been working in the Foreign Ministry system since 1993, he was the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to a number of countries. Since March 2016, he was First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
