After a month-long unofficial ban on the import of medicaments, Ukraine resumed their deliveries to Uzbekistan, reports Ukrainian pharmaceutical company.
On November 3, the Uzbek side stopped customs clearance of Ukrainian medical drugs. However, from now, this product is allowed to cross the Uzbek border.
In addition, Ukraine hopes that the issue of sugar exports will be resolved positively. On November 30, the National Association of Sugar Producers from Ukraine declared that Uzbekistan banned the export of sugar.
Recall, in 2017 Ukraine exported 598,7 thousand tons of sugar. About 60 percent of this sugar was purchased by Uzbekistan.
