The airline directions will be subsidized in 12 destination to meet the population's requirments for air relation between Astana and the regions, relation between the regions, as well as accessibility of tourist facilities  in Kazakhstan in 2018. This information was reported on the official page of the Civil Aviation Committee on Facebook.

The following routes will be subsidized:

  • Karagandy - Kyzylorda - Karagandy, at least once a week with a tariff of 18 000 tenge;
  • Oskemen - Karagandy, at least 2 times a week with a tariff of  20 000 tenge;
  • Kokshetau - Aktau, at least 2 times a week with a tariff of 20 000 tenge;
  • Almaty - Kokshetau, at least 2 times a week with a tariff of 18 000 tenge;
  • Almaty - Petropavl, at least 2 times a week with a tariff of 20,000 tenge;
  • Astana - Taldykorgan, at least 7 times a week with a tariff of 24 500 tenge;
  • Petropavl - Shymkent, at least once a week with a tariff of 20 000 tenge;
  • Astana - Petropavl, at least once a week with a tariff of 14,300 tenge;
  • Astana - Usharal (Lake Alakol), at least 2 times a week with a tariff of 20 000 tenge;
  • Almaty - Balkash, at least once a week with a tariff of 14 000 tenge (6 months);
  • Astana - Urzhar (Lake Alakol), at least once a week  with a tariff of 19,500 tenge (6 months);
  • Almaty - Urzhar (Lake Alakol), at least once a week  with a tariff of 16 000 tenge (6 months).

According to the Committee, all tariffs are for only one way flights .
"The flight subsidy program has been operating since 2002 and more than 10 airlines have been commercialized during these times.One of the key priorities of this program is to develop  tourist destinations in Kazakhstan," - says in the press release.
