Bratislava hosted the fourth round of Uzbekistan – Slovakia inter-MFA political consultations, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The delegations were led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Lukáš Parízek.
The current state and prospects of deepening political dialogue, trade-economic and industrial cooperation, cooperation in cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were discussed, as well as views on regional and international issues of mutual interest were exchanged in detail.
The parties noted that Uzbekistan and Slovakia are equally interested in consistent development of fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas.
An agreement was reached on taking concrete measures to increase trade-economic and investment cooperation. In this context, it is urgent to hold the first meeting of bilateral Interdepartmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation as soon as possible.
