According to the capital’s administration, the hokim (head of administration) of Tashkent, Jahongir Artykhodzhaev, signed a contract for the implementation of a new investment project with the chief regional manager of the Japanese company HIS Hotel Holdings Maruf Umarov.
“According to the contract, a modern five-story hotel with 140 rooms with an exterior in the style of Uzbek national architecture will be built in the park named after Abdulla Kadiri, and the interior will be created in the style of the country of the rising sun,” the press service of the Tashkent hokimiyat reports.
In Uzbekistan, the hotel will be the first Japanese. The project was estimated at $ 13 million.
