At the initiative of the Russian Chairmanship, the UN Security Council held a debate on cooperation between the United Nations and regional organizations - the CSTO, SCO and the CIS in the field of countering terrorism.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi, participated in the debate and made a statement. In particular, he noted that during the period of its membership and chairmanship of the UN Security Council, our country paid special attention to the fight against terrorism. At the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, a Code of Conduct was developed to achieve a world free of terrorism. 84 UN member states have joined this document.
