The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with US President Donald Trump within the framework of the official 74th session of the UN General Assembly.

According to the press service of Akorda, during the conversation, the two leaders discussed topical issues and perspectives of the expanded strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that the United States will continue to strengthen its comprehensive relations with the United States in political, trade, economic, humanitarian, regional and global security spheres.

In addition,  the 74th session of the UN General Assembly is being held in New York on September 23. The event is attended by the heads of 114 states and foreign ministers of more than 80 countries.
