"On May 29, in Nur-Sultan, under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the idea of Nursultan Nazarbayev on Eurasian integration and the 5th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union," the message reads.
The event will be attended by the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Zheenbekov, Russia Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
In addition, the participation of the President of Moldova Igor Dodon as the head of the observer state at the EAEU, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon as the guest of honor is expected.
The Heads of State will review current issues and prospects for the development of the EAEU, including the implementation of the digital agenda and key areas of the Union’s international activities, also discuss the main guidelines for the macroeconomic policy of the EAEU for 2019-2020.
