The first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the Nazarbayev Center, reports Akorda.
During the meeting, Leader of Nation of Kazakhstan Nazarbayev greeted the guest saying the effectiveness of economic and political cooperation between Kazakstan and South Korea.
"I am glad to welcome you in our country. We've formed good relations with the Republic of Korea since the first day of our independence. We've built our economic and politic cooperation from scratch. We highly appreciate your interest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia in general", - noted Nazarbayev.
In his turn, Moon Jae-in thanked Nazarbayev for the meeting. And also noted the importance of the current visit to Kazakhstan. It will deevelop bilateral ties. "I remember our meeting in Brussels. You invited me to visit Kazakhstan. I attach great importance to this visit as this year we mark 10 years of strategic partnership between our countries", - said Moon Jae-in.
In addition, earlier, it was reported that South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived in Kazakhstan yeatserday, on April 21. The following day, he met with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the meeting, they agreed to open a Kazakh-South Korean international IT center in Nur-Sultan.
