Kazakhstan and South Korea will open a joint international IT center in Nur-Sultan. The president of the republic Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev reported this at a press conference in Akorda.
“We have signed documents that cover approximately $ 3.5 billion. Kazakhstan is interested in Korean technologies. An important step in this direction was the agreement to open a Kazakh-South Korean international IT center in our capital, the city of Nur-Sultan", - the head of state.
In the economic sphere, the President of Kazakhstan singled out a new economic cooperation program called “Fresh Wind”, which was signed after the talks.
"Today, our countries are already implementing large projects in various sectors, including engineering, road and infrastructure construction, agriculture, finance, healthcare, information and communication technologies. It is gratifying that Korean business is showing a growing interest in intensifying cooperation in joint projects. Today, over 500 joint Kazakh-South Korean enterprises are actively working in Kazakhstan. I think that their number will grow in the future", said Tokayev.
Eralier, it was reported that that South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived in Kazakhstan.
