The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Moscow to attend the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, reports Uzbek MFA.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, heads of foreign affairs agencies discussed current issues of bilateral relations in various fields, noting with satisfaction their dynamism. In 2018, the trade turnover exceeded 302 million USD, which is almost 70% more than the corresponding figure of the previous year.

During the exchange of views on the international and regional agenda, special attention was paid to the interaction within the framework of the chairmanship of Turkmenistan in the CIS in 2019.
