The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during the discussion of the reports of government members at a meeting with the participation of regional akims spoke about trilingualism, the spokesman for the head of state Berik Kurmangali said.
“This is a very complex and important issue. My position, firstly, should be the Kazakh language, the Russian language. They are very important for our children. And only then teach English,” said the President.
Earlier it was reported that Akorda held a meeting chaired by Tokayev, which was attended by akims of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and regions. During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan gave a number of instructions to akims.
