The price of air tickets increased by 53% in Tajikistan for first two months of 2019.

Moreover, consumer prices and paid services to the population in Tajikistan for the first two months of this year rose by 1,2%. In the same period last year, inflation in the consumer sector of the republic amounted to 0,3%.

According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, in January-February of this year, foodstuffs went up by 2,3%, paid services to the population - by 1%, and non-food items fell by 0,6%.

In addition, the government intends to keep at the end of this year, inflation at 7%. In 2018, inflation was 5,4%.
