Tashkent to hold Turkic Businiess Council in 2019, reports the press service of Uzbek MFA.

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan  Abdulaziz Kamilov had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States (Turkic Council) Baghdad Amreyev in Aby-Dabi.

During the meeting, two parties also discussed practical issues of holding the next meeting of the Turkic Business Council and its business forum on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent in 2019.

Moreover, during the conversation, it was also mentioned that the dynamic trends currently observed in the activities of the Turkic Council are of considerable interest to Uzbekistan. And also Uzbek country is ready to be part of this process and develop mutually beneficial cooperation.

Besides, the meeting addressed other topics related to the interaction between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council.

In addition, it is worth noting that the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states is an international organization uniting modern Turkic states. Its main goal is the development of comprehensive cooperation between them. The Turkic Council was established in 2009 by Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
