Working groups of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are discussing a draft agreement between the governments of the two countries on trade and economic cooperation in the field of the supply of oil and oil products, reports the news agency 24kg.
According to the project under discussion, the Kazakh side will not charge export customs duties on goods for domestic consumption in Kyrgyzstan. Volumes of supply will be specified in indicative balances and protocol. The agreement will be monitored by the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use from Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Energy from Kazakhstan.
"Today, the delegation of Kazakhstan arrived in Kyrgyzstan to conduct the first part of the discussion of the draft agreement. The second discussion will be held in Kazakhstan in the coming days. Possible volumes of duty-free deliveries of oil and oil products will become known after the meeting in Kazakhstan", - says in the committee.
