Uzbekistan will provide Kyrgyzstan with $ 100 million of loan funds. This was said by the Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov.
According to local media, citing the minister, the presidents of the two countries agreed to open this credit line last autumn.
“The loan will be provided to entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan, "Aiyl Bank" has been selected as a counter-bank. We offer to give these funds to entrepreneurs who are engaged in the processing of wool and hides", - said Mukanbetov.
It is noted that the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are faced with the task of increasing commodity circulation to $ 1 billion. In 2018, it amounted to about 340 million dollars. At present, the volume of imports is greater than the volume of exports.
During the visit of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov, it was planned to sign three documents on the line of agriculture: two agreements and one road map.
