Son-in-law of Atambayev leaves post of head of Kyrgyz Football Federation

Semetei Sultanov announced his voluntary resignation from the post of the President of the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan, reports the new agency 24kg.

The time has come to revise plans, define new goals, find new opportunities, and best of all this should be done by people with fresh ideas and views. Leaving and talking about the future of the Kyrgyz football, I want to assure you that my supporters remain in the football sphere. I wish them enough strength, spirit and will to lead the favorite sport to further success and prosperity!» the son-in-law of the ex-president Almazbek Atambayev said in his open message.

In addition, Semetei Sultanov had been heading the national football federation for the last four years.
