Kazakh Ambassador to Singapore and New Zealand, Dr. Usen Suleimen held a briefing for Kazakh media on the state and prospects of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Singapore at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During this meeting he noted that in January-September 2018, bilateral trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Singapore amounted to 402,9 million dollars, reports the press service of Kazakh MFA.
It is 5,5 times higher than during the same period in 2017. Exports volume from Kazakhstan increased eight times and amounted to 372,6 million dollars over the same period. This data demonstrates the huge potential of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, it is interesting to note that in 2018, Kazakhstan and Singapore celebrated 25 years of bilateral relations and showed excellent results of cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, during the briefing, Dr. Suleimen spoke about the development of Kazakhstan-Singapore relations, noting that the level of cooperation between the countries shows that there is a considerable potential for further deepening across the whole spectrum of the bilateral agenda.
