Nazarbayev sent a telegram of condolences to the 43rd US President George W. Bush, reports press services of President of Kazakhstan.

The President was deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of the 41st United States President, George Herbert Walker Bush.

"Your father was a real patriot of his country, and he honestly served America's prosperity. He left an indelible mark in the history of the world as a prominent statesman who contributed greatly to the end of the Cold War and global security.

The people of Kazakhstan will always remember George Bush as a clever politician who has made great efforts to establish and strengthen bilateral friendly relations. He was one of the leaders who have for the first time recognized our independence.

We were both good friends with George W. Bush and often met. I always remember his hospitality at his residence in Texas, especially at home in Kennebunkport in 2006.

On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere condolences to you and the entire people of America", - says on the telegram.
