For the first 9 months of 2018, the trade turnover increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period of 2017 and amounted to about 38 million USD, reports the press service of MFA of Uzbekistan.

The 7th meeting of Uzbekistan – Indonesia political consultations was held, during which the state and prospects of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other fields were discussed in detail.

Moreover, the sides noted the significant potential for development of mutually beneficial relations in almost all areas of cooperation and confirmed their firm intention to increase them.

In addition, it should be noted that the number of tourists from Indonesia who visited Uzbekistan has almost doubled. In this context, the sides discussed proposals on maintaining dynamics of strengthening relations, expanding the range of mutual supplies of products and services.

According to Uzbek Foreign Ministry, issues of cooperation within the framework of the UN, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international and regional organizations were also considered.
