The ceremony of a postage stamp from the series “Memorable and anniversary dates” on the theme “Membership of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UN Security Council” was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports the press service of Ministry.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Ashykbayev and Managing Director of "Kazpost" JSC Bauyrzhan Ainabekov.
As stated by Yerzhan Ashykbayev, Kazakhstan’s membership in the UN Security Council is one of the most important foreign policy achievements of Kazakhstan for 27 years of independence. “It is symbolic that today's ceremony was held on the eve of the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, whose merit is rightly central to the election of our country as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council”, - said the Deputy Minister.
The postage stamp is made by offset printing in 4 colors. Circulation - 20 000 copies. Price per copy will be 250 tenge.
