Uzbekistan will produce high-performance gasoline from methanol in 2022.

According to local mass media, South Korea's "GS Engineering & Construction Corporation» company to start production of high-performance gasoline from methanol on the basis on Uzbekistan's "Navoiazot". 200 million dollar will be allocated for this purpose.

«GS Engineering & Construction Corporation», "Uzbekhimprom" and "Navoiazot" will sign a joint agreement on December.to implement this project. According to preliminary estimates, Uzbekistan will produce104 thousand tons gasoline from methanol and 14,4 thousand tons propan-butane a year.
