The member states of the Turkic Council - Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are developing the Travel Package "Modern Silk Road". 

The joint tourist product will enable the world tourists to travel the Silk Road countries effectively. Timur Duisengaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC National Company "Kazakh Tourism" proposed to increase the advertising of the Central Asian region within the framework of the project.

"Turkey is a big tourism market, but it is difficult to meet the Turkish traveler currently in Central Asia. In the field of tourism, Kazakhstan can offer significant projects to tourists of Turkey and Azerbaijan. Altai is a historical homeland of all Turkic peoples. An another golden person was found in Tarbagatai. About 10,000 gold ornaments were found in this excavation belonging to the 8th-7th centuries before our era. It is a world-wide news. The second interesting destination is Turkistan region in southern Kazakhstan. Turkistan became the capital of all Turkic peoples", - said Timur Duisengaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Company "Kazakh Tourism" at the 13th meeting of the working group of the Turkic Council in Astana.

At the same time, Timur Duisengaliyev noted the need to develop cruise tourism in the Caspian Sea.

As stated by the organizers, the first trip on the project "Modern Silk Road" will be held in late August and early September in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
