During the working visit to Pavlodar region the Head of State got acquainted with the work of Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, where there was a deep technological modernization and digitalization of production processes within the Industrialization Map of Kazakhstan, reports Akorda.kz.
Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed that the modernization allowed to increase the productivity of the crude oil processing plant and to improve the quality of oil products to meet the requirements of K-4 and K-5 standards. There are new automated isomerization complexes and sulfur production units, which are managed from a central location.
The Head of State pointed out that in conditions of increasing oil production in Kazakhstan it is necessary to increase its deep processing with more finished products that meet international standards for deliveries to domestic and foreign markets.
The President of Kazakhstan noted that, despite the modernization of the three existing oil refineries in the country, there is a need for the construction of the fourth one.
Addressing the young employees of the enterprise, Nursultan Nazarbayev reminded that Pavlodar refinery is the last plant built under the Soviet Union, which was equipped with advanced equipment for the time.
- You are working in the most modern factory. Here, digitalization of production is being carried out at full speed, and new technologies are being introduced. The demand for your products increases, accordingly, your incomes also grow, the Head of State said.
