Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov has held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Shyngys Aidarbekov, repotrs the official website of Kazakh Foreign Minister.

We attach great importance to the relationships between the two brotherly people and stress that we consider each other as strategic partners and good neighbors.

The sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues on bilateral political, trade and economic and investment, cultural and humanitarian relations as well as regional cooperation, border cooperation, water and energy.

"Our main goal is to implement the agreements reached between President Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov in Astana and Cholpon-Ata. We are pleased to note that the active cooperation between the parties will continue to be fulfilled, and the implementation of many tasks of the presidents", -noted Minister of Kazakhstan.

The sides expressed their mutual interest in increasing the volume of mutual trade and diversification of its structure, implementation of joint investment projects in new sectors of the economy, including the attraction of the International Financial Center "Astana". For business structures of the two countries, new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in such fields as electronic commerce, financial services, processing and food industry as well as digital industry are opening.
