The issue of reduction of mortgage loan cost for the population is under consideration. This was stated by Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kassymbek.
As stated by him, the ministry has started work on the improvement of state standards in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction.
"We are considering the issue of reduction of mortgage loan cost by 2030", - Kassymbek said.
According to the Ministry, this year commercial banks will provide construction companies with 105 billion tenge for subsidized loans and for mortgages 125 billion tenge.
"The revival of the banking sector leads to increase in the annual volume of loans up to 350 billion tenge and the share of depositors of the Housing Construction Savings Bank will increase to 12% due to the economically active population. It is expected that in 2018 the commissioning of housing will increase by 6,8 percent", - noted the minister.
Recall, many people have been buying a home through mortgage in recent years in Kazakhstan. For example, for 10 months of 2017, banks increased volume of mortgage lending by 51 percent comparing to 2016.
