Adilbek Dzhaksybekov was re-elected president of the Kazakhstan Football Federation at an extraordinary conference of the KFF, reports sports.kz.
One month ago, the previous head of the federation Seild Baishakov resigned at his own request. He was awarded the title of "Honorary figure of the Kazakhstan Football Federation.
On January 18, candidature Adilbek Dzhaksybekova nominated regional federations. During the voting, his candidacy was supported unanimously. He thanked the members of the Kazakhstan Football Federation who elected him for their trust and appreciated the development of this sport in the country.
"Dear friends, participants, I want to thank you for your confidence. Thanks to Seylde Baishakov for all the activities he is carrying out, and will continue. As for the football itself, it's clear that it's such a sport that cannot be compared to any other on the influence and interest, on how many people unite, how many fans have fans, and what interest is caused by even a small event in it", Dzhaksybekov said.
Recall, currently, Dzhaksybekov also heads the Athletics Federation of Kazakhstan. Earlier, he already headed the KFF from 2007 to 2014.
