President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting in New York with the founder and owner of Bloomberg news agency Michael Bloomberg, reports the press service of Akorda.

The participants in the conversation exchanged views on pressing issues of the world economic agenda, and also discussed the prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Bloomberg agency.

The President noted the importance of holding the Bloomberg Global Business Forum, which to hold on September 25 in New York. According to him, our country at this event will be represented by the manager of the Astana International Financial Center Kairat Kelimbetov.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also told the famous American businessman about the trade, economic and investment opportunities of Kazakhstan and called on the American businessman to actively cooperate with his company AIFC.

Michael Bloomberg thanked the President for the opportunity to meet and expressed his readiness to develop mutually beneficial ties with Kazakhstani partners.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of State invited Michael Bloomberg to visit Kazakhstan.
