Uzmobile company began testing a new 5G communication format in Uzbekistan, the press service of the operator reports on Facebook.

"Based on the widespread multi-mode radio module of the base station, testing showed a data transfer rate of up to 1 Gbit / s for each user, which fully meets the requirements for increasing data transmission capacity during the smooth evolution of 4G networks", says in the report.

In the comments, several users reported that the 5G icon appeared on the screens of their gadgets. However, the majority of users were critical of the company's message, pointing to the poor performance of the 4G and 3G standard.

In April, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a visit to China announced the need to accelerate the introduction of 5G technologies in the republic. He also discussed with the founder of Huawei the possibility of cooperation in this direction.
