According to the State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, the corresponding agreement was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic Abdulla Aripov during his visit to China on August 27-28 of this year.

According to the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirement for Exporting Melons from Uzbekistan to China, signed by the two parties, products exported from Uzbekistan to China must fully comply with the phytosanitary rules of the Chinese side.

According to the State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate, the Uzbek side is also currently negotiating with Beijing on the export of pomegranate, grape and lemon to the Chinese market.
