Development of Uzbek-British interaction was discussed

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Timothy Torlot, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

At the meeting, the state and priority areas for further development of Uzbek – British interaction were discussed.

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic nature of bilateral relations and the productive results of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to London on July 9-12.

The mutual interest of Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom in realizing the existing significant potential on expanding cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other fields was confirmed. Besides, special attention at the meeting was paid to proposals for enhancing contacts in various fields.
