The city administration clarified that non-indifferent people of Kazakhstan from all regions of the country, representatives of state bodies and private companies donate funds.

The explosions in the warehouse of a military unit in Arys began on the morning of June 24th. It was decided to evacuate the whole city. People were taken to Shymkent, located 85 kilometers from Arys, and several nearby villages. Many residents left the city on their own.

As a result of the incident, two people were killed - a soldier of the unit and a local resident, in whose car a shell hit. 165 people were injured.

In addition, The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Arys city after explosion military warehouse. During the visit, Tokayev was informed about their condition and ordered the relevant bodied to organize a medical aid at the explosion site.
