The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) will provide Tajikistan with a loan of $ 150 million, the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management reports.
“The draft framework agreement was approved by the Government of Tajikistan in early May. Tajikistan will receive this concessional loan for three years ($ 50 million annually) after signing the agreement and ratification by the country’s parliament,” the message reads.
The funds will be allocated to finance the import of goods, pre-export financing of agricultural products, providing financing for the government and government agencies, financing credit organizations for lending to the private sector, direct financing of individual private companies for importing priority goods, also for technical assistance projects.
