"The new leadership will be given high confidence of the people. As the party chairman, I bring the candidature of Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the table. As chairman of the Senate he made a great contribution to the development of parliamentarism. All these years he was my faithful companion", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev in an extraordinary XIX Congress Nur Otan.
In addition, it should be noted that on April 9, the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed a message to the people of Kazakhstan. He said that the early presidential elections will be held on June 9, 2019.
