The President of Russia Vladimir Putin to pay a visit to Kazakhstan in May.
Russian President Vladimir Putin made an official statement that he will take part in the the upcoming session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council that be held in May in the capital of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan.
During the meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev Vladimir Putin noted that they will have a meeting very soon.
"The session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council dated to the 5th anniversary of the EAEU is slated to be held on May 29 in Nur-Sultan. Thus, we wanted to emphasize the special role of Kazakhstan and Nursultan Nazarbayev personally in the creation of the Union", - said the Russian President. Vladimir Putin also extended gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev who paid his first foreign visit as the Head of State to Russia.
In addition, he expressed confidence that the Kazakh President will continue to pay constant attention to further development of mutually profitable cooperation between the two countries.
