Vladimir Putin will stay in Kyrgyzstan only one day, but the agenda is extensive: starting from the meeting and negotiations with the head of state Sooronbai Jeenbekov to participation in the conference on economic cooperation between the two countries.
It is planned that during the talks, the presidents will discuss the current state and prospects for development of the Kyrgyz-Russian strategic partnership and alliance.
Moreover, the parties will exchange views on issues of deepening cooperation in regional associations, including taking into account the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan this year in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Following the talks, the leaders will sign a joint statement; they will also prepare a package of intergovernmental, interdepartmental, interregional and commercial documents. A joint visit of the heads of state to Chingiz Aitmatov’s memorial house is planned.
