A further round of political consultations between foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and South Korea at the level of deputy foreign ministers was held in Seoul. The Kazakh side was headed by First Deputy Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi, while the Korean side was headed by Deputy Minister Yoon Soon-gu.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, including cooperation in the framework of international and regional agendas. The partners commended the steady development of bilateral relations, as well as the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership.

The sides confirmed their intent to further strengthen relations in the political, economic, commercial, cultural and consular spheres.

The sides noted that they are satisfied with the current state of bilateral cooperation, and outlined a plan for the development of mutual relations for the future.
