Bakyt Dyussenbayev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented to Park Won-Soon, Mayor of Seoul the solemn medal «Astana 20 years» for his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and South Korea, reports the press service of MFA.

During the meeting, Ambassador B.Dyussenbayev noted a stable political dialogue at the highest level and important events in the current year, such as 10 years since the establishment of a strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and South Korea and 15 years of establishing sister cities relations between Astana and Seoul.

Also, Ambassador of Kazakhstan conveyed to the Mayor of Seoul the original invitation on behalf of H.E. B.Sagintayev, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Astana Economic Forum in May 2019. The Mayor of the Korean Capital confirmed his readiness to intensify cooperation between the capitals of the two countries, and expressed interest in visiting Astana.
