Over 4.1 thousand tons of honey was produced in Tajikistan last year, reports the press service of Ministry of Agriculture of the country.

This figure is 80.3 tons more than the honey production for 2017. In 2017, 4 thousand 21.4 tons of honey were produced in the country. The Ministry  claims that high quality honey is produced in Tajikistan, which made it possible to export honey abroad.

The ministry noted that Tajik honey in small quantities is exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates.
