The text of the inscriptions on the national currency of Kazakhstan will be issued in the Kazakh language. This is stated in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 12, 2018.

“The text of the inscriptions used in the design of banknotes and coins is drawn up in the state language. The design of investment and collectible coins allows the use of inscriptions in foreign languages ", noted in a document published in adilet.zan.kz.

It also contains the required design elements of banknotes and coins.
