According to the research, in 2018, Russia was visited by 2.4 million citizens of Uzbekistan.
For 2018, Russia received 32.6 million foreigners. This figure exceeds the data of 2017 by 1.6%.
As in previous years, the main stream falls on the post-Soviet countries. Ukrainians were placed on the first line of the rating (9.2 million people), Kazakhstanis on the second (4.3 million), Uzbeks closed the top three (2.4 million).
Also, tourist activity distinguished residents of states that are geographically adjacent to Russia. They were 2.03 million Chinese, 994.1 thousand Finns and 728 thousand Poles.
Rating left Iran. Residents of this country are less likely to come to Russia by 69% compared with the 2017 figures. The place of Iran was taken by Japan, and Italy improved its position by one line, overtaking the UK.
