“The TV leadership considers such scenes to be immoral and discrediting national values,” the message reads.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Tajikistan Makhmadsharif Bobozoda noted that the ban on the demonstration of explicit scenes in films that are broadcast on public channels is connected with the prevention of propaganda of foreign culture and respect for national traditions.
Recall that a year ago, the Tajikfilm studio offered to cut out explicit scenes from domestic and foreign films before going out on the country's screens and showing on local TV channels.
