According to preliminary data, the volume of international reserves of Kazakhstan in December 2018 increased by 0.97% compared to November, from December 2017 decreased by 0.79%, amounting to 88.628 billion US dollars, reports the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The volume of gross international reserves of Kazakhstan in December increased by 2.53% (from the beginning of last year it decreased by 0.28%) to $ 30.909 billion, including the volume of net international reserves increased by 2 , 56% (-0.21%), up to 30.42 billion dollars. The volume of assets of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to $ 57.719 billion, an increase of 0.16% (-1.05%).

The volume of assets in freely convertible currency amounted to $ 16.518 billion, having demonstrated a decrease of 0.45% in the previous month (from December 2017 - a decrease of 10.71%). The volume of assets in gold increased by 6.17% (+ 15.15%), to $ 14.391 billion.
