On April 11-13, Uzbekistan will host the Tashkent Law Spring international legal forum for the first time, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.

This became known after the negotiations of the ambassador of Uzbekistan in Belgium Dillera Hakimov and the president of the International Union of Judicial Enforcement Officers of the Union of Executors (ICAA) Mark Schmitz, According to the interlocutors, in the context of increasing globalization, individual countries are assessed through the prism of the effectiveness of national legal systems as the most important factor of competitiveness and investment attractiveness.

“All this is directly related to the judicial and the jurisdictional system as a whole, including the sphere of enforcement proceedings, since they largely create the legal image of the state, its attractiveness as a place of business,” the report reads.

Following the meeting, Mark Schmitz reaffirmed his willingness to lead the International Union of Enforcement Officers (IUEO) delegation at the Tashkent Law Spring international legal forum.

Uzbekistan became a full member of the IUEO in May 2018.
