The volume of agricultural production in all categories of farms in Tajikistan in the first eleven months of this year amounted to 24 billion 188.3 million somoni, which is equivalent to 2.5 billion US dollars, reports kabar.kg.

According to statistics, the specified indicator of agricultural production exceeds the volume of production for the same period of 2017 by 4.1% in comparable prices.

Production growth in crop and livestock production was 3.6% or more than 17.6 billion somoni, 5.4% or 6.5 billion somoni, respectively.

As of December 1, 2018, about 1.2 million tons of grain, 297.5 thousand tons of raw cotton, 954.1 thousand tons of potatoes were produced in all categories of farms of the republic. Compared to the same period last year, more potatoes were produced by 24.1%.
