More than 3.8 billion US dollars amounted to the volume of foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan for the eleven months of this year, which is 7.5%, or 267.6 million dollars more than the same period last year, reports  the Statistics Agency of Tajikistan.

The trade balance was negative and amounted to - 1 billion 860.7 million dollars. Import of goods for the specified period was formed in the amount of more than 2.8 billion dollars, which is 15%, or 372.5 million dollars more than the volume of the corresponding period of 2017.

Exports of the same products decreased by 9.6%, or by 104.9 million dollars, amounting to $ 991.2 million dollars. Russia remains the main trading partner of Tajikistan: for the eleven months of this year, the trade turnover between these countries amounted to $ 924.4 million, and increased by 9.6% compared to the same period in 2017.

The growth of trade between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, with which in January-November this year grew by 1.9%. The volume of Tajik-Kazakh trade turnover for 11 months of this year reached $ 768.8 million.

With China, trade this year also grew by 11.9%, and amounted to more than $ 589.2 million.
